Oak Frame Extension & Landscaping

The client approached Scoop Contracts looking to transform the rear of their Nottinghamshire property into an open, usable outdoor living space that could be enjoyed year-round. The brief included a two-storey oak frame structure, a covered dining area, and a complete redesign of the patio and garden approach.

We began with a thorough groundworks phase, clearing and levelling the existing garden and laying the concrete base and footings for the oak frame. The structural oak was prefabricated off-site and craned into position over the course of a single day - a key milestone the client was on site to witness.

The porcelain patio was the final major element, laid in a large-format tile across the full garden terrace. The result is a seamless flow from the new extension through the covered dining area and out to the open patio beyond.
