Scope of Works
Full property rebuild and extension - structural remodelling, additional bedroom, oak frame porch feature and complete envelope rework
Before and after photographs rarely tell the full story of a project like this, but in this case they come close. A modest two-bedroom bungalow has been transformed into a three-bedroom luxury home - different in almost every meaningful respect from what stood on the same plot before.
The scope of work covered virtually every structural element of the building. The existing bungalow was stripped back, internally remodelled and extended to achieve the new floor plan. Additional structural work was required to support the enlarged footprint and the new bedroom above, and the entire envelope - walls, roof, fenestration - was reworked to the finish standard the client wanted.
The oak frame porch and entrance feature was a key part of the brief. It gives the property a strong first impression and sets the tone for the quality throughout. Oak frame is a material that ages well and improves over time, and in the context of a building that has been completely reimagined, it signals the care and craft that has gone into every other element.
The before and after photographs on this page tell the story of the transformation. More images from the renovation will be added as we receive them from the client.
