Design and construction of a large-span steel portal frame agricultural building with concrete panel base, green profile cladding and full groundworks
This project involved the design and construction of a substantial agricultural storage building for a Lincolnshire farming operation. The client needed a durable, low-maintenance structure capable of housing large equipment and providing covered storage throughout the year.
Scoop Contracts handled the project from the initial ground preparation through to the finished cladding. Our plant team carried out the groundworks and concrete base, after which the steel portal frame was erected by our structural team.
The building was clad in green profile metal sheeting - a classic agricultural finish that blends well with the rural landscape. Access doors were specified to accommodate the client's largest machinery, and the finished building significantly increased their on-site operational capacity.
